Meet the Whole Body Health Team
Dr. Shaelyn Osborn, BA, DC:
After completing a degree in Kinesiology at The University of Western Ontario, Shaelyn graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1999 as a Doctor of Chiropractic. Dr. Shaelyn Osborn is the owner and director of Whole Body Health, the premier family wellness centre for Brantford and surrounding area. She loves working with people of all ages, especially children, in helping them discover and reach their optimal potential. Dr. Osborn has special interest and training in pre-natal and pediatric care. Dr. Osborn is a chiropractor, a health coach, and a wellness doctor whose goal is to inspire people to live a life of health and wellness.
Sharon Gingras, CHA:
Sharon is a certified Chiropractic Assistant, New Patient Advocate, and the Office Manager at Whole Body Health. Sharon loves working with families in our office to assist them in achieving their optimal potential naturally. She is always available to help and answer any question that members of our practice may have. Sharon loves being a part of our Whole Body Health team and is an integral part of inspiring health and wellness in our community.
Sharron Jones, CHA:
Sharron is our front desk Chiropractic Assistant and welcomes people to our office with a warm and friendly smile. Sharron is looking forward to learning and growing as part of our Whole Body Health team. She is excited to be a part of our patients’ journey towards optimal health and wellness.
Evana MacQueen, RMT, CR:
Evana graduated from the Kikkawa College of Massage Therapy in 1997 and has been an integral part of our Whole Body Health team ever since. She focuses on assisting people restore, maintain, or enhance their well-being and sees massage therapy as being a great way to improve the quality of people’s lives and enable them to live life to the fullest!
Jon VanSickle, RMT:
Jon graduated from Canadian Therapeutic College with a massage and hydrotherapy diploma. Jon has experience in and enjoys treating clients whether it is for a specific injury or relaxation purposes. Each patient is assessed and treatment is customized to accommodate their individual needs.
Niki Macpherson:
Niki has recently joined the Whole Body Health team and is the Health Coach for the Ideal Protein Weight Loss Method.
Kim McClelland, CR:
Kim uses reflexology to stimulate points on the feet to create a beneficial effect on some other parts of the body, or to improve general health and well-being. Kim’s experience has shown that reflexology helps to heal the whole person, not just the prevailing symptom.
Jennifer Hartog, DSSW - ADHD Brain Coach
Jennifer graduated from Mohawk College with a diploma in Social Service Work. She is the Brain Coach for the Peak Potential Program at Whole Body Health. The Peak Potential Program is an ADHD wellness program designed to help children overcome ADHD naturally through holistic approaches. Jennifer performs a variety of both physical and mental exercises with the children to work towards achieving a neurological balance. Jennifer has extensive experience working with children of all ages. She has accumulated experience in a wide variety of disabilities, including ADHD, learning disabilities, Autism, Aspergers, to name a few. She is currently an Educational Assistant for the Grand Erie District School Board and thoroughly enjoys her role at Whole Body Health. Jennifer welcomes the children with warm smiles, friendly conversation, and ensures a fun atmosphere. She is truly dedicated to helping children grow and prosper to their fullest potential.
Janice Mannering RN, SScN, IBCLC
Janice Mannering has over ten years experience as a Lactation Consultant, helping mothers breastfeed their babies in challenging situations. Janice has been a registered nurse since 1982. She worked at the Hospital for Sick Children for 17 years then moved to the Brantford General Hospital in 1999. Janice became an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant in 1997. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Toronto in 2000. Janice developed and ran the breastfeeding clinic at the Brantford General Hospital from its opening in March 2000 until it closed its doors in March 2005. In 2006 she successfully obtained her Canadian Perinatal Nursing Certification. Currently Janice works as a staff nurse in the Labour & Delivery unit at Brantford General Hospital. Janice has her own private practice breastfeeding consulting business and is well known locally through her clinic, classes and presentations on breastfeeding.
